Oil 5x7". This was inspired by the film "Love in the Time of Cholera", from the book of the same name by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Most of us have been influenced by the beauty of the background settings of current films. I can think of so many exquisite landscapes etched in my mind, from films that I can barely remember. There was one scene in this movie when the compulsively in love main character is on a passenger boat and spies another boat flying a yellow flag which meant there was cholera aboard and the vessel was quarantined and not allowed to dock. The beauty of the background of the river, contrasted with the plight of the people on the boat is not to be forgotten.
This is my first post in nearly two months. Sometimes responsibilities of life does not allow painting, and once I can get back to the easel I'm hoping to be very productive and maybe turn a corner toward something new and different. Missing it...like an itch you cannot scratch!

Great thoughts you got there, believe I may possibly try just some of it throughout my daily life.
